JK Sahara had the camera in the rear bumper; JL Sahara has it in the tailgate. The cover needs a camera-shaped cutout to keep the lens unobstructed. We cut the hole during production at no charge — send the camera diameter and offset.

Cleaning note: Pressure washing is not recommended for any Wheel Shell cover, regardless of material. Hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly, and air dry. Pressure washing can damage the printed surface and shorten cover lifespan.
Color matching note: Matte PU Leather and Marine Grade Vinyl reproduce factory matte black most accurately. Glossy PVC and Polyester read as deep charcoal under direct sun. For OEM paint-match, send your paint code at checkout — we calibrate the print and send a proof before production.

How the cover attaches to your Sahara's spare
All Sahara generations mount the spare on the tailgate with the factory tire carrier. Cover wraps the tire and tightens with elastic or drawstring — pick by preference:
- Elastic band (PU Leather, PVC): Stretches over the tire and grips behind the tread for a snug, factory-style fit.
- Drawstring cord (Polyester, Marine Grade Vinyl, Marine Grade Vinyl Lux): Wraps over the tire and tightens with a drawcord. Adjustable for any spare diameter.
Aftermarket tire carrier (Mopar HD, AEV, Smittybilt) doesn't change cover fitment. Cover sits on the tire.

Same size for Sahara Unlimited?

What about the Sahara 4xe? Battery placement and all that.
Sahara 4xe runs the same 255/75R17 spare as the gas Sahara — the battery doesn't affect the rear-mounted spare. Same cover spec works.

Will the cover fit if I've upgraded my Sahara to 33-inch tires?
Yes — just enter 33 inches as the overall diameter. Most Sahara upgrades go to 33 inches with a 2-inch lift. Some go to 35s with bigger lifts — same drill, custom sizing free.
My JK Sahara has the camera in the rear bumper. Does that affect the cover?
Not directly — the cover sits on the tire above the bumper. If you've relocated the camera onto the spare-tire mount, send us the diameter and offset and we'll cut a hole.
Can I get the body-color hardtop matched on the cover?
Yes — the body-color hardtop is one of Sahara's signatures. We can color-match the cover to the hardtop / body color (Punk'n, Sting-Gray, Hellayella, etc.) so the rear of the Jeep looks unified.
Will the cover work on a soft-top Sahara?
Yes — soft-top vs hard-top doesn't affect the spare-tire cover. The cover wraps the tire on the tailgate carrier, regardless of what's covering the cabin.

Yes — Sahara appearance trims (Altitude, High Altitude, Final Edition) share the underlying Sahara spec. Same cover works. We can customize with the Final Edition or Altitude lettering free.
