The vehicle compatibility question gets asked in every form, but the answer is always the same underneath: cover sizing follows tire diameter, not vehicle make. A Wrangler running 33-inch all-terrains takes the same cover a Bronco running 33-inch all-terrains takes — even though the two vehicles look nothing alike from any other angle.
That said, every common vehicle has a known stock spare size, and pulling up the right size by make and model is the fastest path to the right cover. Below is the catalog of vehicles we routinely fit, with the size that lines up with the factory tire. If your build is lifted or running aftermarket rubber, size by the actual tire on the spare, not the original spec.
This guide covers the bestsellers (Jeep Wrangler, Ford Bronco, Mercedes G-Wagon) and the long tail of niche and international 4x4s that often do not appear in size charts elsewhere. For anything not listed, send the tire diameter at checkout — custom sizing is always included.
Here is the practical fitment guide by vehicle category.
Spare tire covers fit any vehicle that mounts its spare externally — on a swing-out tire carrier, hitch carrier, tailgate, rear bumper, or RV ladder. Sizing follows tire diameter, not vehicle make, but every popular vehicle has a known stock size that maps to a standard cover.

Frequently asked questions
My vehicle is not on this list. Will the cover fit?
Yes — size by overall tire diameter, not vehicle make. Send the spare-tire diameter at checkout (use a tape measure across the tire, edge to edge through the center). We make every size from 14″ to 37″ and beyond, with custom sizing always free.
Does the cover fit if my vehicle has a backup camera?
Yes. Every cover ships with a free centered backup-camera cutout option, sized to fit any factory or aftermarket camera position. Just choose the “with camera hole” option at checkout. No extra cost or special order.
I have a hitch-mounted spare carrier. Will the cover work?
Yes. Covers fit any external mounting system — tailgate-mounted, swing-out, hitch-mounted, rear bumper carrier, or RV ladder mount. The cover wraps the wheel face and tread sidewalls; how the wheel is held does not matter.
My spare is on an RV trailer ladder. What size?
Most RV trailer ladder-mounted spares fall in the 28″–32″ range. Pop-up campers and teardrop trailers run smaller (20″–24″). Boat trailers and small utility trailers are 13″–16″. If you are unsure, measure across the tire face and send the diameter at checkout — custom sizing is free.
I have a lifted Jeep on 35s. Will a 33-inch cover stretch to fit?
No — size up to a 35″ cover. A cover that is too small will not seat properly and will pull at the attachment, distorting the design. Always size by your actual tire diameter (35-inch all-terrains take a 35″ cover).
