1分以内でできるスペアタイヤカバーの取り付け方

If you have not installed a spare tire cover before, the actual process is anti-climactic. There is no hardware to attach, no special tools to find, no instructions to memorize. The whole installation takes about 30 seconds once you have done one, and the only real decision is whether your cover uses an elastic band or a drawstring at the back.

That said, a small number of things can go wrong on the first install: the cover ends up crooked, the band sits in front of the tread instead of behind it, the drawstring does not fully tighten, or the design ends up rotated three inches off-center. None of these are hard to fix — they are all caught by paying attention to one or two things during the install.

The cover is the only item required. No screws, no clamps, no adhesive, no tools. The cover ships with all attachment hardware (elastic band or drawstring) sewn in place.

唯一あると便利なのは、スペアタイヤが泥や埃で汚れている場合の清潔なタオルです。取り付け前にトレッドを拭いておくと、カバーがタイヤにきれいに密着します。

Installing an elastic-band cover (PVC, PU Leather, Marine Grade Vinyl)

1. カバーを配置する デザインを外側、つまり車両とは反対方向に向けます。ゴムバンドは内側の縁を一周しています。
2. カバーをスペアタイヤの上からかぶせ側面に沿って下ろしていきます。引っ張るとゴムが伸びます。
3. ゴムバンドをトレッドの裏側に押し込みます タイヤ全周にわたって行います。バンドはトレッドとリムの間の溝に食い込みます。指で縁をなぞって、しっかり収まっているか確認してください。
4. 完了です。 カバーがスペアタイヤにぴったり密着し、純正のような仕上がりになります。

巾着式カバーの取り付け（Polyester）

1. カバーを配置する with the design facing out and the drawstring side facing the vehicle.
2. カバーをスペアタイヤの上からかぶせ and pull it down around the sides. Drawstring covers fit looser than elastic-band covers because the cord does the tightening.
3. Reach behind the spare and pull the drawstring 締めます。コードはカバー内側の円周を一周しています。両端を引いて、カバーがホイール面にぴったり密着するまで締めてください。
4. コードロッククランプを固定します クランプはあらかじめ取り付けられた状態で届きます。クランプがコードのテンションを保持し、固定されるとカチッと音がします。
5. 完了です。 Drawstring covers can be re-tightened any time the cover loosens (after a hand wash, after long shipping).

取り付け時によくあるミス

• カバーが平らに収まらない。 サイズが小さすぎる可能性があります。直径をご確認のうえ交換をご依頼ください。無料返品、返送手数料もかかりません。
• 前面からゴムバンドが見えてしまう。 バンドがトレッドの裏側ではなく表面に乗ってしまっています。トレッドとリムの間の溝に押し込んでください。
• Drawstring loosens at highway speeds. コードロッククランプが完全に固定されているか再度ご確認ください。固定時にはカチッという音がするはずです。
• デザインが斜めに取り付けられている。 Rotate the cover by gripping the front face and twisting. The cover spins freely before the elastic or drawstring is fully seated.

よくあるご質問

スペアタイヤカバーの取り付けに工具は必要ですか？
