Every once in a while, a story comes along that reminds us just how strong and full of love dogs can be — even after facing the hardest challenges. Carson, a beautiful Siberian Husky, is one of those special souls.

Marc and his wife Laura, proud members of Southern Siberian Rescue in Raleigh, NC, opened their hearts and home to Carson after hearing about his heartbreaking past. But as soon as he stepped paw into their home, Laura immediately knew — “He’s so happy, we’re adopting him!” From that moment on, Carson became part of their family, named after Marc’s best friend of 40 years.
